The Sha La La's
With Swirling Hammond Organ and Vocals delivered with real purpose, The Sha La La’s are a London based Four-piece Steeped in Mod and Soul Roots. Signed to Detour Records their 60s R&B influences are apparent but make no mistake, their sound is definitely their own and definitely NOW. Founded by Darron Robinson (Vocals, Guitar) and John “Pax” Piccirillo (Drums) and with the line up completed by John Lee (Hammond Organ, Wurlitzer Piano) and Vere Osborne (Bass)

The 48Ks
The 48k's have played various venues throughout the country, entertaining with their own brand of Indie/Mod.
Venues such as the Leadmill, The Plug, The 02 academy , The Cavern, Doncaster Dome and various festivals have seen The 48k's gain numerous followers and lovers of their music.
Their popularity has led to numerous support slots with prestige artists such as Cast, Space, The View, Reverend and the Makers, The View,The Selecter, The Strypes,The Hoosiers, From The Jam amongst others.
Acoustic slots also with John Power, Tom Hingley, Chris Helme have also shown the diversity of the songs The 48k's have written.
The 48k's released "For Every Day a Memory" which was a collection of their early recordings and followed this up with the release of a 4 track e/p "The End's The Start Where We begin " in 2016 to rave reviews.

The Media
Formed 1978 in Portsmouth , influenced by
The Clash , Buzzcocks and The kinks!
Released 2 sought after singles TV kids and
South Coast City Rockers , appeared on the TV program ‘Going Out’and recorded an album but split before release .
In 2019 Lovechild Records released the album ‘ Bright New Future ‘ and a single
Jump Down . The band reformed and recorded the album ‘ Blink of an eye ‘ on
Detour Records with a new EP ( Getting off at ) Fratton being released in December .
They continue to gig to this day !
